Volunteer and Donations Management
This course is an updated version of the course formerly known as Developing Volunteer Resources. This one-day course is designed to provide the knowledge and skill set necessary to develop and execute an effective volunteer and donations management program over time.
Course Length: 8 hours
Course Timeline: 9am - 4pm
Prerequisite: FEMA Independent Study IS 244.b- Developing and Managing Volunteers, must be completed prior to attending the course and a copy of the certificate forwarded to IEMA before you will be allowed to take the classroom portion of Developing Volunteer Resources. Please forward a copy of your certificate for FEMA Independent Study IS 244.b to IEMA, 2200 South Dirksen Parkway, Springfield, Illinois 62703, Attention: Training . OR fax to 217-557-1978 Once we receive the certificate, we will add it to your official student transcript.
Target Audience/Discipline: This course is designed for federal, state and local emergency management officials and related professionals and agencies working with all types of volunteers and volunteer agencies.
