Homemade Explosives: Awareness, Recognition and Response
The HME course will provide first responders with the knowledge to recognize and report the presence of the HME’s as well as the precursors and facilities where HME’s are fabricated. The program includes instructions and training on Explosives Characteristics and Hazards, recognition of a wide variety of HME precursors, recognition of HME manufacturing and IED production, HME scene safety and security, and community awareness and education on HME’s.
