COOP Manager
Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) ensures that executive and senior level personnel and departments are capable of continued performance under a broad range of circumstances. IEMA’s COOP Manager Course is designed to enable senior staff with the ability to anticipate events and response actions; adapt to sudden changes in operational environments; improve performance through identification of critical functions and processes; and improve communication in support of critical functions and processes on administrative, budgetary, and preparedness platforms. Curriculum will include planning considerations for preparedness, activation, and reconstitution. Attendees will share expertise and begin initial development of COOP through use of illustrated lecture and practical applications. Upon completion, participants will be provided with COOP templates, forms, and reference material for use within a jurisdiction.
